Due to Covid-19 restrictions, as of Monday 27 July, we will be temporarily running our nail and facial treatments from the premises of our sister salon Glow Lash & Brow Bar which is just a few doors down the road. Glow Tanning, Nails & Beauty will still be open for sunbeds and treatments that require private beauty rooms on an appointment-only basis.
Glow opened the Lash & Brow Bar at 6 Lower Fore Street 18 months ago to create more room for our popular eyelash extensions and brow treatments. Now due to its open-plan layout, the space lends itself perfectly to house the nail desks in a way that helps with social distancing and other Covid-19 guidelines.
Don’t worry, much of your treatment will remain the same – Mel, Teresa, Rachel, Donna, Bridie, Morgan and the team will be working under one roof and are looking forward to seeing you again.
For those of you who haven’t yet visited our Lash Brow Bar, we hope you like it. Even without its Prosecco Bar and sofa waiting area ousted by Covid it’s still an atmospheric environment for you to relax and let us pamper you.
On arrival of your appointment, please wait outside the Lash & Brow Bar and Mel or Teresa will let you into the salon. Please arrive on time for your treatment, and bear in mind that we now have no waiting area, therefore, you might not want to come too early if it’s bad weather conditions, etc.
All of our beauty therapists will be wearing protective visors, and even though it is not a legal requirement to wear a face mask into salon premises – we are requesting that you wear one to your treatment. This allows you to work with us to ensure a safe and clean environment for all of our customers and Glow team.
Lastly, all of our payments are being taken at Glow Lash & Brow Bar so please consider this when booking a sunbed or treatment that will be performed in one of our private beauty rooms to avoid having to walk down to the Lash & Brow Bar to pay. We are asking you to pay for your treatments in advance via our online booking system, email payment requests or BACS to help us avoid congestion at the reception and reduce touch points. Thank you X
