Introducing Online Bookings and Booking Requests!

The Glow Tech team have been working away behind the scenes upgrading our websites, where we are now taking bookings and booking requests! You can now book and request treatments through the treatment pages on our Tanning Nails & Beauty and Lash & Brow Bar websites.

Our new and exciting booking system also allows you to check live availability for treatments, allowing you to have full control of the time you would like to book or request your treatment without having to contact us. Please note that we are still taking bookings over the phone, email and social messengers. This feature has not been set up to discourage salon contact – it has been designed to give you a much quicker and easier booking experience, especially when you need to check availability when our phone lines our engaged, or when we are closed. 

How do I check Treatment Availability?

Once you are on either of our websites, navigate to the treatment page of your choice. From here you will see prompts to “Book your treatment” or “Request your treatment”. Once you have selected one of the following prompts, simply follow the onscreen instructions from hereon. We kindly ask you to try and book appointments next to the first or last available bookings if possible, as this helps us keep gaps between clients to a minimum. 

Why can I book some treatments and only request others?

The answer to this is complicated but to simplify this, it’s down to staff and treatment logistics – some bookings need to be checked before we can confirm them. When treatments are requested we aim to confirm them or decline them as soon as possible. But as always if you need instant answers please give us a call. 

How do I pay for my online booking?

You can pay by card for your booking. We take a 50% deposit to confirm all our online bookings, the remaining balance is due following your treatment. 

Will I get confirmation of my booking?

Yes you will receive confirmation via email of your booking and receipt of deposit paid. You will as normal receive a reminder email 48 hours before and SMS message 24 hours before your treatment. 

Why do I pay a deposit to book a treatment?

We require a deposit which is 50% of the value of your treatment. We require this on all our online bookings primarily to reduce “no shows”. When clients don’t arrive for appointments we lose money as we’re unable to fill these slots with no cancellation notice, making it too late to notify clients on our waiting list, meaning that everyone loses out. The remaining 50% of the treatment will be paid following your treatment at Glow. We believe that the online booking system will be a very useful tool for our clients, but any new introduction of new processes and software will not come without teething problems. The online booking system is fully operational and working well but it’s not the polished article that we hope it to be in a few weeks time.
